CARLA RICCOBONI, designer e ricercatrice orafa, pioniera dell’autoproduzione negli anni ‘80, è considerata tra i “maestri” del gioiello italiano contemporaneo.
Segni, ritmi, scritture costituiscono le basi formali dei suoi gioielli, risolti in termini di raffinate sequenze geometriche come le catene ALPHABET o tese al recupero di antichi repertori, come le collezioni VENEZIA e MADREFORME. I suoi pezzi, prevalentemente multipli, sono realizzati con le tecniche meccaniche tipiche della storia del distretto orafo di Vicenza.
I lavori più recenti, VELI e VOCI , superano l’ambito orafo, hanno come tema la voce, sia in senso reale che metaforico e nascono da una ricerca collettiva SEGNI SUL VOLTO realizzata in collaborazione con le Arti Orafe di Firenze (LAO) sui cambiamenti creati dalle nuove tecnologie.

CARLA RICCOBONI, jewellery designer and researcher, pioneer of self-production in the 1980s, is considered among the “masters” of the Italian contemporary jewellery scene.
Signs, rhythms and scriptures make up the formal foundations her jewels based on, shaped into sophisticated geometric sequences such as the ALPHABET chains, or aimed at a return to repertoires from the past, such as the VENEZIA and MADREFORME collections.His pieces, mainly multiple are made with mechanical techniques typical of the history of the goldsmith district of Vicenza.The most recent works, VELI and VOCI, go beyond the goldsmith sphere, have the VOICE as their theme, both in a real and metaphorical sense and arise from a collective research SEGNI SUL VOLTO carried out in collaboration with the Arti Orafe of Florence (LAO) on the changes created by new technologies.
